I knew a guy years ago who had a permenant solution for cats around his birds.
each night he put out a metal tray with a bowl of milk in the centre. he then cut the plug from an extension lead and placed one wire into the milk the other was connected to the tray. the cat completed the circuit and was fried.
he got away with it for a few months and then his neighbours found out, they made him use humane traps instead and that they would all have collars on their cats.
did a great job of reducing cat numbers though.
dont u just hate CATS

I have a story for everyone, got home from a bird sale in march, purchesed two pair of Gouldians, took them out of there carry box and into two 24 inch by 16 inch black cages, i had the 2 cages outside on the grass as it was a beautiful day and so i went back inside to let them settle in, find there seed and water etc, started watching the footy, essendon kicked an early goal, turned my head to look out the window to see a flamin CAT hitting the cages with his paws, iv never ran so fast in my life, out the bak door, and i was clapping so hard to scare the s*#t out of it i neally broke me hand lol. it took off 100 mile an hour and i havent seen the cat since thankgod, dos'nt mean his not around. my dog is 18 years old so can't exactly keep a good eye on the backyard. she sleeps all the time.
but yes i hate cats that attack birds!!!!!!

apsrin good rat sack better u all must remember who could be reading this. we might get some cat lover having a bitch and causing unwanted trouble...my big problem is , if i had a pit bull and it got out or jumped someones fence i would have the local ranger knocking on my door . either asking me to put it to sleep or give me a hefty fine for it being out. cat owners should suffer as well they can have three or more cats with no restrictions that *censored* in peoples gardens and prey on native wildlife. it just seems its good for sum .. i have had my bitch now, i feel much better....pete

I have to say i agree with you Pete as i don't like cats for the same reason and there should have the same restrictions as we have with dogs
