My lesson from that is never place 2 cocks in the same cage and if they start a tail wagging dance it's prelude to a fight. Are they easy to sex or is it a case of if they fight they are males and if they don't they are females or a pair?

My cock bird sort of does this through the devide to my hen. My hens beak is white and she is squating for him through the bars. And when i give them bedding apart and together they will carry it around the cage and rip it to bits/play with it. Even taking it out of the nest to do so but dont seem interested in nest building.

But the cock bird has a little bit of black still on his beak and beets her up when in with her.*The cock doesnt really sing much either* And he chases her away from the nest when they are together.

What does this mean?

BTW their nest is a standard plastic canary nest in the top corner of the cage. A box has been put around the nest and fake plants added for privacy.

I'm no choreorapher so I don't know how you'd describe that dance on the perch.
