Emblema fledglings

I've got painted fledglings at present and mine breed like mad. Make sure u put some brush on the floor mine roost in it a ye mine are poor fliers early on also. Mine get loud after about a week of being outta the nest. Good lick with them

Sounds like there doing fine, one of the reasons young come out of the nest, when you go into the aviary they can get startled, the hen/cock sitting on them quickly escapes from the nest and sometimes the young get caught under the wing and get thrown from the nest. Not sure if this happened in your case but try to be carful when entering aviary. they should be colouring up and you'll soon identify what sexes you have. congratulations. Not sure if you have or not but if can ring the parents, you will easy identify after they fully colour the parents
