Getday folks,
new user here. With teenagers growing up, I have been given a bit of my backyard back, and I'm just into reconsidering and designing an aviary to suit the garden,etc. I have been involved with finches since I was 13 years of age, but parked it for 25 + years. I guess you know what I mean. My area of specific interest is the red browed finch. I was an avid reader of Klaus Immelman's book and still have it front and centre on my library shelf.

After 5 posts a lot more of the forum will open up for you, we have an extensive collection of ideas and pics of members aviaries in the Aviaries and Cages section, also a newsletter section with member aviaries featured in some the the issues. Hope they help in your designing. We would love to see pics as you build :D

Welcome to the forum. Funny the difference child migration makes to a household. They migrate out of home and we get to have time for hobbies.
