G'day everyone. My names Dave and I'm in Melbourne.
I used to have zebras back in the olden days and I've just acquired a small aviary and permission from wife to start again. I'm hoping to keep zebras or red brows to start with and after a lapse of 40 years I'll need all the advice I can get. By the looks of it I'm definitely in the right place.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
Cheers

Welcome to the Forum. Just tell the wife that finch keeping will keep you at home instead of out drinking etc. That will do the trick. Then point out the need for his and hers avairys and see what finch she wants in hers. And you are both hooked. And you can tell her a woman told you to tell her that. :silent:

I will just repeat finchbreeders suggestion, then you can tell the wife 2 women said that.

Welcome aboard, I am sure keeping finches may have changed a little from 40yrs ago,Might be some old tricks you will be able to share. Red broweds maybe a little harder to find atm. There has been a decline in availability with them,Not that the price tag reflects that.
