Food for thought there ...Green Cheeks actually will pull chest feathers to line a nest so maybe there's something in it .

What can it hurt to throw a handful of feathers in the aviary's for them to use .

They are on shaved pine which I assume retains some heat .

We did think of insulating the nests as they do with Hoodeds but really didn't feel the need , so far the hens have been doing a great job .

No because they are not an easy bird to get hold of around here . I actually will be freighting my next pair from another state that's how bad it is in Dubbo.

Are you thinking of getting them for your aviary ?

Umm you wont have any worries about overcrowding if you put Musks in with your finches coz you wont have any finches after the Musks kill them all .

Very bad idea Nathan ... more research needed on that one OK. :D
