yesterday we got our first breeding pair of zebras.
The male is definetly a normal zeb and we think the female is an isabel

Be careful it can get a bit addictive.

True that flap, I started out with 2 now have 40 in a large aviary and god knOws how many babies.
Well done. Nice looking breeding cabinet. It is amazing how quickly two can turn in to many. In January I had one pair, I have kept one of their offspring and given away seven so far with another nest of five eggs due to hatch in a week or so. Nice coloured male. I am not an expert on Isabels but I would suggest the female is a pied white rather than an Isable. Both look healthy and wish you well in breeding them.

The hen is not an isabel, looks to have a bit of grey on the back in the second photo so would say its a pied, isabel is a cream type colour. Good luck with them as its said they are the rabbits of the bird world.
