Wow thanks for the advice, I opened up the bag and chucked it in when I got home from work at like 6.30 last night. They've already put the feathers to good use and the nest is now covered in snuggly white feathers. I forgot the mealworms though :problem:

They breed well rach make sure if they go a second round u keep up the calcium a sun light

Well they haven't touched the mini mealies or even look interested in them. I saw them both fossicking around on the floor today in the sun, eating seed by the look of it. They were both off the nest for a bit which is a little worrying. My dad didn't know not to disturb them and wheeled their cage down the other end of the patio so they could be in the sun... Hoping this round is just a practice for the real thing.

They tend to only be really interested in mealworms once they have chicks and even then not in big quantities.
