Came across a Pet Shop today that has recently a heap of mostly un-colured Yellow backed and white fronted Gouldians from the same breeder. They are selling them for $65-$75 a pair for any with colour and $25 each for uncoloured. Had a good look at them and noticed many have what to my un-trained eye are foot/toe deformities i.e. most have toes/nails pointing upside down / sideways or elsewhere. Is this normal in young birds or could it be something relating to say too close breeding?????
Also came across another Pet Shop selling cubans ($65 pair), St Helenas ($75 a pair), Stars ($65 a pair).
