I wasn't talking about any specific spices as the ones I keep seem to breed- some better than others. The reason for asking is to get an idea what to change- new cock, nesting sites or location in the aviery. As for the food I do give plenty of variety of fresh fruit and vegies every second day, as well as live food and boiled egg every day. As for me now I have a new young pair of cordons and last time I had them never did much which was due to me being inexperienced but going to give them another shot. I was just trying to find out what other people did when their finches didn't produce even a nest and when they decided to call it quits. Now I have a brand new aviery which would better for their liking, more space more Sun and alot higher. I'm already searching out new blood as my older breeders can go into retirement.
