There are about 10 siblings. Only one of them shows this strange color!!!

Even though the white is more on one side than the other he does not look like a true half-sider to my eye. But if you have a total of 10-12 chicks from this pair it would appear to be a recessive form of pied. So worth braving a mating back to mum or a sister or two when the time is right.

But If I got from 10 chicks only one pied, it seems to me that this also could be a dominant form of pied. Sometimes this form must suddenly appear from normal parents - ----- isn t it?
