Ive googled a bit for you and Kaytee exact is being used with success to hand rear Gouldians .

Crude Protein (min.)........................22.0%
Crude Fat (min.).............................9.0%
Crude Fiber (max.)...........................5.0%
Moisture (max.).............................10.0%
Omega-3 Fatty Acids (min.)...................0.5%
Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) (min.)...........0.05%
Total Bacillus Species(3)(min.)..250,000 CFU(4)/g

Compare this to the one you have mentioned and if they are on par then go for it .

Wouldnt worry about Bacillus as its a probiotic which I doubt would be viable after sitting in the warehouse /shop for a while anyway .

Hey,

Thankyou for the reply.

Can you freeze this food? And how long does it last if it can be?

Thanks

If unopened and in the use by date then quite a while ie. I have a bag in the freezer from last season which I will be using very soon.

Bacillus is that the same as a probiotic? I use small amount of probiotic for young, sick, or newcomers in quarantine

Yes I have probiotic sachets ready to make up fresh as I need them .
The probiotis in the rearing food has been sitting for a long time and if stored like I do in the freezer is not viable by the time I need to feed it .

My handreareds get the probiotic drinks Attila or Vaalia for the first few days if they are very young other wise if older the parents have passed on enough to load the gut with good bacteria anyway .
