My Zebra finch looks very sick,
My young zebra finch that I bred looks very sick he/she is stretching her neck out as far as he/she can with her beak open and makeing clicking noises and he/she is all puffed up. I was thinking air sack mites but I'm not sure if it is air sack mites were would he/she gotten it from I bred her so I have no idea how he/she could of cought it from .

sounds like ASM.
The bird could have got it from one of the parents, or (if someone please could confirm this?) it is a airborne disease.
I have been advised to treat with Moxidectin + so will be calling a friend at a reasonable hour today to borrow some.

How much does it cost?. And I think that my zebra finch might be sick beyond recovery. She can't evan fly.

I'm not certain how much it costs.
Isolate her if you have not already done so. keep her fairly warm.
I will do some research and get back to you RE cost/usage.

I've got a baby zebra finch in almost the exact same position as yours. So far I've just had him inside because the cold wouldn't help and I've been giving him a powder that goes in water called tricon powder. I'm pretty sure you can get it from a pet store but we got it from the vet and it cost about $60. Already he's starting to feed and drink and is starting to fly again.

Nathan the sick bird needs warmth .
Especially with the nights still being cold .

Did you set up a hospital box yet ? Thats where it should be mate .
