It made me look harder and now three days in a row iv seen the most beautiful blue wrens and this afternoon I got to within less than 2 m of one ,his hen took off to another grass tree (they seen to spend most of their time in realy long clumps of native grass and call constantly) but he was a lot gamer and seemed to be giving me the once over as he fed on seeds I watched him for about 4 min then the hen came back and they just carried on feeding.
Such beautiful little birds ,I dont have a lot of time for my local council but I will give them credit for planning to be able to attract a colony of blue wrens to such an industrial area ..Iv seen at least 4 bright blue males and several brownish ones
