Hi All,

I shall start by saying that I am not a Finch enthusiast or possessed of a great deal of avian knowledge, I do however know someone who is, in fact that person is a member.

The reason I am here is that this person was asking me about why this forum might be getting time outs and other issues in relation to speed and responsiveness.

I am a bit of a computer geek and thought I would see what I could do to help.

it sounds like a hosting issue and could be to do with the bandwidth availability of the host and or cpu or storage issues on the host server.

Happy to point you in the right direction, or perhaps this problem is already being worked on by the mods for site.

I am not looking for a position and will not likely stay a member for too long, but I can and do understand user frustration when using the internet.

Well if I can help in anyway, please just ask.

Thanks for the insights on the forum time outs and speed that seem to have been an issue just lately. Im sure you would get a far more knowledgeable response from Wishes (our techhy guy) but his computer and phone access has been severely compromised by a post hole digger The driver of the digger (not Wishes )post holed the Telecom line
