Here is my first ever lot of Zebra babies.Well one of them. She come out and sunned herself for about 20 minutes and then went back to nest.Onother one came out flew around and went back.Does this mean they have fledged or just staring to??
there is a lot of difference in each of them colourwise! I have a couple of normals (appear to be normals, they are the younger ones)one or two with a lot of white with the brown and there is also a pure white one with a patchy black head,What would this be called??
It's so exciting being my first clutch!!!Mum and dad have done a great job and are looking really well.
18 days old!!!fledging??

Try opening it in Microsoft paint, right-click the image and then choose resize. Set it to pixels and change it to the size you need.
Or open it in any photo viewing program (eg: Corel) and crop the photo down to size.
You can apparently also join photobucket, drop your photos in there and resize easily (though I've not done this; just one of the many useful things learnt from aff).
There is also a topic on this forum about how to resize, but I can't remember where.
Good luck.

Bravo! What a beatiful fluffball.
Keep the photos coming and you'll no doubt get an answer.
Enjoy.
Feathers unfolded, out of the nest=fledged. They will often go in and out for a few days.Mel7610 wrote:Onother one came out flew around and went back.Does this mean they have fledged or just staring to??
You'll have to ask the zeb experts, but I would reckon they are pieds.Mel7610 wrote:one or two with a lot of white with the brown and there is also a pure white one with a patchy black head,What would this be called??

Wow congratulations on the babies.
The baby in the photo is a normal pied, hope this helps.
