Didn't take long for this topic to become "Let's Bash Mutations"
Just a few random thoughts, observations, questions, and quotes:
# Yellow Painteds have been round for 20+ years and Reds are still readily available. Around here both are about the same price
# Is there a difference between breeding a Yellow Painted and a Full Red-fronted?
# Anyone denying the beauty of the Lutino Rainbow, whether it came from hybridisation or Immaculate Conception should seek the services of an optometrist
# Why do breeders of 'pure' birds try to foist their view of the hobby onto the 'mutation' people, while the opposite rarely, if ever, occurs?
# Why do some 'mutation' people keep mutations, but apologise for so doing?
# "Intolerance is the last refuge of the insecure"
# And with some degree of introspection . . "Is denouncing prejudice, prejudicial in itself"?
And to finish on a lighter note:
"When are you going to eat pork, Rabbi Levi?" . . "At your wedding, Father O'Reilly!"
