About 2 weeks ago my zebras layed 3 eggs in the cabinet floor,i placed them into a cane nest.I had a look today in the nest and the zebies have covered over the eggs with nesting material. The eggs are buried down the bottom of nest
Sometimes i see the hen sitting on the nest
Do i leave the eggs in there.
No sure what to do..

Thanks

Leave them there. The Zebs will lay fresh eggs in the nest when ready. Try not touch the nest as this might make the parents abandon the nest.

Yep just leave them be ...they can roll out any unwanted eggs if they choose to .

If you poke around in there you may put them off this next lot of eggs .

I agree with the others. Just leave them. Those little guys will just 'cover up' and abandon those eggs, then they will just lay fresh ones.
