Come to think of it what are they likely cost.Just curious as I gave a couple of pairs away to a youngster
last week.Seeing face light up was worth it.
I guess preferred is in the eye of the buyer / seller. "Preferred" is a very personal thing and comes down to looks vs challenge, price vs price (as in buyer happy with cheaper, seller happy with dearer) and so on.

The Aus yellow, at this stage, is dearer just because it is rarer (a)recessive not dominant so longer lead times to establish (b) harder to keep alive although now more durable than the Blue. Generally a nice pair of Euro Yellow will go for $150-$180, and about half that again (or more) for Aus yellows, see (a) and (b) above for reasons.

I like the Euro yellow because I like the yellow with the purple chest, I find the few Aus yellows I have seen to be a bit lacklustre in comparison, at least the WC Euro Yellow is a bright yellow whereas the Aus yellow is a bit duler, especially if it is mottled on the shoulders with a lot of greeny olive. It's the only mutation I like, I find the pastels not so exciting and the blues even less so, unless it is a high quality bird colour wise. An Euro Yellow Blue or an Aus Yellow Blue is a waste of seed in my opinion but it is certainly a challenge to get for those so inclined.
