Picked up a female Black head white breast today (first single female I have come across for some time while looking for a female for my lonely red head normal male).
He was a great dad as he successfully supported 4 out of 5 fledgings when he lost his mate and has been sighted helping out a black head pair with their fledgings as well so rather than sell him off have kept him in the hope of finding him a new mate.
She is almost finished her moult (still has a couple of feathers to finish on the head).
Will this be a viable pairing if they hit it off and if so, what are the possible offspring from such a pairing??
Thanks
Spoton

Assuming they are not split for anything then:
The Cocks will be Red Headed Split Black headed Split White Breasted
The Hens will be Red Headed Split White Breasted
However if your cock bird is already split for Black headed and/or white breasted then you will get black headed normals and red and black headed white breasted youngsters aswell.
