great birds. i really want some tricolours. and the bishops...very nice. is your aviary fully roofed?
i'm cleaned out the aviary and wasn't going to let my birds breed in the cold weather. figure i'll start up again in spring.

Got some more Tricolours today, I'm breeding with two friends so we can share our birds between us.

for someone who like me claims to have only kept finches a short while you certainly have gone all out there and gotten the best money can buy!!!
i mean green strawberries!!!! sheeesh!
i promised myself i wouldn't allow myself to get any more birds until i've had some success with raising at least one clutch of chicks. i've only had my birds a few months and am as yet to have any chicks fledge.
however, i hear tricolours produce a large number of surplus males so i'm thinking i might get myself a few boys for a bit of colour.
