We've had painteds and redbrows in the same aviary for years, each consistently chooses their own. Keep even pairs / birds and all would normally be OK.

The pair of redbrows have been in a breeding cage and the 4 pr emblemas have a big wheeled avery/cage. At the moment the emblemas live mainly on the floor or lower half and the redbrows are always in the plants up high so as long as they wont cross I can put together.
I see the redbrows fly back and forth all night so they like space .I tried them in the bigger cage today and they loved the extra space and plants to hide in and the emblemas were all fine with them so will leave them together ,
