hi all,
got myself a nice pair of Orange Breasts after chatting with russell on the saturday night before the singleton sale.
They're really cute I've missed having them around.
Just wondering: will they eat Mike Fidler's soft food? I bought some at the sale, and it didn';t come with instructions >:( so should I mix it with water? feed it straight? mix it with my frozen soaked seed?
Thanks!
Got some OBs :D

Congrats on the new OBs .
I imagine you would just use the MF soft food like any other .
I mix the soft food I use with water for weaning birds and the rest get it dry ....with the warmer weather I can leave dry food in longer than wet food.
They still eat it dry or wet so it makes no difference unless you want to mix it with other foods.

Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

Great minds Jay, got myself a pair while I was there as well, not an overly coloured cock, but they are a good style of bird. Also grabed a pair of Russels Ruddies, really good hen, very well spotted, & a pain in the ass to catch. Went to change them to another cage when I got back to where I was staying, & she slipped out above my hand, took 3 hours to get her back, luckily she couldn't get out of the shed.
