new zebra finch mutation ?????

Was wondering about the possiblilty of dilute blood from the colouring in the first posted pics. 2nd posted pics lighting made it too hard to tell. If he was a budgie he would be called a flighted pied. Most pieds I have known do not throw true to markings unfortunately. But good luck I really like him.

i have two of them but are both males.
did think they were diffrent lol
is there any rare white ones because i have a white one with a pure black head .

Interesting zebra. Reminds me of the clear wings in gouldians.

I used to breed saddlebacks and occasionally would get a similar colouring to this when bringing in normals to increase size.
Didn't try to fix the colour as not what I was aiming for so can't tell you if it's a new mutation or just a variation. I think even the saddlebacks are more a colouration of pied rather than a true mutation.
