They often hatch ten or more.
My personal best was 18.
Cute little buggers, aren't they?

Quail babies will (should) always hatch at the same time. They actually call to eachother from within the shell to plan their great escape when they are ready!!
That is a pretty big clutch, my hen's usually have between 6-8 eggs. I count 10 chicks in yours? Congrats!
One of the little babies could fit through the wire of our aviairy on the floor which is about 1cm by 1cm. Thankgod it could fit back through.
Lol I was happy when only 1 hatched on one day, then the second the next. Can't wait till I get a big clutch for once. I was told that if you take the eggs out day by day until the clutch was complete then put them back in so they hatch on all the same day. Is that correct??
The hens don't sit until the clutch is ready, so the babies usually come out on the same day.
You needn't take eggs out or anything like that.
