Approx. 10 days ago while scratching around I pulled out what I thought was an old partly built nest.
Much to my surprise it held 3 smallish half feather chicks of unknown specie.
So I stuffed it back and left telling myself why do I do what I do. For some reason I seem to do it at least once a year(senior moments I guess)
Anyway next day most of the nest was on the ground and the chicks green feathers quite visible. So there were three young Blue Faced Parrot Finches with little chance of survival. I had meddled enough so I left them be. Next morning three small semi green birds tucked up togetherin the corner of the floor. They were checked every morning but left alone and they seemed to be thriving. Today there are three small birds flying around driving their parents crazy, warmish weather and good parents obviously got them through.

Glad to hear that everything turned out for the best. And I know you are no orphan when it comes to accidently cleaning up a nest. Many of us have done this at some time or another.
