Hello all. Can I please once again draw on your experience in sexing some of my birds. I have read a lot of the material on "How to sex your Gouldian", and I think I have a bit of an idea but still find it confusing.

In the first photo, I think the Gouldian on the left is male and the one on the right female?

In the second photo, male on left and female on right?

In the third photo, two males on right and female on left?

Appreciate any assistance as I may not have any females at all and will be hitting the bird market for females!

I'm pretty sure all the red heads are female
The moulting one, not sure but I'm guessing male?
The hens have heads not as bright, usually much darker than males, and Blue around the face patch very limited.

I do not go by the amount or intensity of the head colour
My method is the Yellow on the body
Picture one
Hen on the LEFT most likely Male on the right
Picture two
Hen on the Left, Male on the right
Picture Three
Male on the left,Male in the middle(low down) Female on the right
The one in the middle could be a good quality hen though.
See what the others say.

I go with E Orix.
If you have some time just sit outside the aviary and watch them, the cock birds will raise their heads up and start quietly chirping, and if you see one bouncing up and down on a perch that is a male.

Okay...thanks all. As I said in my initial post - confusing! But, I hopefully have a female amongst the many offered sexing options!

I do appreciate you taking the time to have a crack though.

Cheers
