Hi

Is there a technique for getting an adult finch to open its beak for hand administration of medication? First time I was able to get him to open his mouth and take one drop. Now he knows what I'm up to and holds it firmly shut.

To open a finch mouth is to go from the side off the beak
and firmly press on the side and it will slowly open.
