Here we go again with hybrids a can of worms opened again. As stated the chances of young would be very remote but these days who knows. The reason I asked why was that I was wondering about the intensions behind the question, thought there might be something that might make both birds even better like some type of super bird that doesn't get sick. If crossing for song like most do with a Canary, I don't see how that would be any better than a good singing Canary. If for looks I can't say what that would turn out like but a gouldian would always look better I reckon. Blujay i know you said wondering but not actually doing, time would he better spent on other projects but all in all its your choice that your gong to follow hope you can make a good choice.

All this fantasy talk. It aint never gonna happen! What type of nest would they make? Gouldians share incubation, canaries don't. Although they are called finches they are so totally unrelated that it would be an impossibility. Nice to fantasise though.
Anyway I have to get back feeding my Budgeratoos.
