I also use the seed hoppers from Alan (that Adrian and Misso mentioned)...so do several others from this forum.

The quality is great and they are reasonably priced....AB's finches if you want me to pick one up for you on Saturday just PM me...I will be at Ballarat on Sat so no issue to pick some up for you.

Just browsing the forum and came across this old thread asking what's the best seed hopper. So I thought forum members might interested to read about the seed hopper that my friend, Mr DC uses. He builds the hoppers himself and tells you how - and it's not just a seed hopper but also has the added advantage of getting rid of those pesky codling moths.

I use a seed hopper called a Comodor Feeder , retail here in Ireland for about 5 euro .
They're french made and I think I spotted it on Ladygouldian.com ( cage supplies section )
I find these excellent , it did take some bird's a little time to get used to them but now they're flying :lol: intended
