Adrian I have 4 pairs in identical cages, I decided not to separate mine into 8 to give the birds a bit more room. Two of your birds are in them (not paired though, with other birds). It's the first time I've used cages not aviaries so I'm curious as to how well they'll go too.

Just curious to see how the birds have gone breeding in cages?Adrian I have 4 pairs in identical cages, I decided not to separate mine into 8 to give the birds a bit more room. Nope, I hadn't seen it. Reported elsewhere (in the 2012 thread) that none of the 4 pairs bred, lost one hen in the cage and her mate a couple of weeks later (both split bluesiaos wrote:Birds of a feather wrote:Obviously we wouldn't want to shoot ourselves in the foot by being honest?Maybe you could send him a PM for his successfulness or unsuccessfulness regarding these cages![]()

Or maybe the author hasn't seen your post.

I'll try again next season I expect, as all hens were first season so maybe they were a bit young.
