Thats it, I'm off to bed, can't stand to think of any more cross breeds. It seems that anything is possible. Wouldn't it be great to see a wedged tailed gouldian eagle?

Not too far off with the zebras these days, they're closer to eagle size than the original bird!!

That's almost like a quail finch. If it were a species, I'd keep it! Very pretty, parentage aside.

Most unusual looking little finch. Pity they didn't stick to their own type but. (or the owners didn't let them)

Yes there were other zeb hens in the cage. The bengos have hatched and raised it and treat it as their own. I guess I wont know for sure until it moults but I am thinking that they just hatched a zebbie egg

Interesting pic,and i'm definately not into hybrids but why would it have a white bill and legs.DBs have a bluish bill and zebs red???

I would say the Zebs had eggs and the Bengalese have mayb taken over the nest. But that just looks like a Fawn Pied Zeb to me.

I would say young fawn pied zeb and one of the zebbie hens would have to be a pied or a split pied.
