Easter Bunny's just come early here. Son's come down from Geraldton for the weekend and the dog has just got into his bag and eaten a whole chocolate bilby. We only discovered it when she brought the second one out to unwrap at her leisure while we were eating dinner.

Thanks Craig we did have an emergency vet trip for her a couple of years ago when daughter's friend came for a sleepover and left a block of dark chocolate on the bed, not knowing about dogs and chocolate, however the "chocolate toxicity calculator" says we should expect no problems with the amount she's had. Still watching her anyway.

Yes it was really reassuring to be able to use it.... you type in dog's weight, type of choc and weight and it then calculates the risk. Dog has cost about $500 just in the last couple of weeks so was so pleased not to be taking a trip to the after hours vet.

Good Easter, though little homesick, sister called, to wish good holiday, was interesting conversation, she said there was a program on about an animal here, Bilby, that there are a goup of people trying to make it the official holiday critter instead of the rabbit. Said they are trying to raise money to help save it, as they are endangered. Once watch a program, featuring an elderly gentleman, whom on his own has done much to rescue this critter.
Also she was excited about a movie she had just finished watching, The Man From Snowy River. Husband got excited, she liked and advised it is from a poem written by "A.B. "Banjo Paterson," so he down loaded and I faxed to her. She called back, she throughly enjoyed it. Stated in all her education (MLS, MBA,etc.) she never had any Australian poems or literature. So good day, indeed, can't wait to wake her up and wish happy Easter.

I still bloody get a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat when they run the Brumbies down the side of the hill in slow mo ....
