I have seen a number of people use this type of box at the birds sales. The description given sounds like Bob ...., from Albury, makes.

You are right Wagga they are made by Bob in Albury.
We have them as our sale boxes and there are a few copies around now.Not as good as what Bob makes though.
We are on mark 4 now with each new model the design has been improoved.
I will organise a picture, currently they sell for about $100. The main cost is $40 for the vertical wire fronts.
The beauty of these is we can walk into a sale with a100+ birds and be selling in minutes, also we do not have to leave our selling point
at any stage to go to the catching cage.
I have 5 used ones for $70 each if anyone is interested.

Orix,i think Ripley's talking the small 4 cage one, which i have four of and i purchased two at Orange sale and two a the Singleton sale.As a cabinet maker,i have made many carry boxes/selling cages but when i spotted these at $35 each i couldn't go past them. They are so well made for the price that i now think you need to order them from the guy before you go to the sales as they get snapped up really quick before the sale starts. Not sure who the guy is but my mates has bought a few for resale here at $55 each,so he would have his number if anyone wants it. pm me. Cheers Craig

I realise ours are selling cages as your original one was,I was just adding to Wagga's comments.
If the carry box that the others are commenting on is the one I am thinking of they are very very good.
Compact enough to carry around a crowded bird sale. Actually its good when some one buys from us with a good
carry box as they are easy to put birds in. Some of the boxes carried around should be sent to the tip,and others are so big its
quite silly. Wire Canary cages are a NO NO.

The 4 compartment carry boxes with the hinge between the middle were selling for $35 each at Fairfield Sale.

They are made by a guy from Lithgow
