Well,
Weather was quite chilly, but dry and the little one made it through, BUT, now it has a nestmate who decided to join him. Both are healthy, but underdone. Parents are feeding them well as well as the other chicks in the nest. They are both off the ground but now it has started to rain so tomorow will be another story. I will keep everyone posted regardless of the outcome.

Good news.....a mate to keep it warm is a good thing...as long as they are not at seperate ends of the aviary!!!

Sheeesh! Now there's another when I checked this morning. They are snuggling and being fed off the ground. They are just so tiny compared to the goulds that are also fledging as I speak. Things aren't looking too bad I suppose.
