Hi,

I create only in avairys, have two.
The birds deserve the best, so avairys are the best option and where birds are born in better conditions.

I have Amandava Amandava, Amandava subflava, Estrilda astrild, Excalfactoria chinensis.
I hope to learn even more with all foristas and help in whatever way possible.
Transferred Latin to English
Amandava amandava = Red Avadavat
Amandava subflava = Orange Breast
Estrilda astrild = St Helena/Common Waxbill
Last one dont know
Thanks for the translation, I am more accustomed to names in Latin, ;-) my apologies.

I tend to agree with you, but am aware that not everyone (particularly in Citys and Europe) is lucky enough to have the space to do this. So thought to ask, as it helps to understand the differences in how people do things.
So are your avairys indoor/outdoor type or fully outdoor?
No one minds you using latin names, but it is more helpfull to use common names. That way more people will understand and be able to comment. Me thinks us Aussies are in general a lazy bunch when it comes to learning latin names. (And I put my hand up to being a chief offender in that regard)
