An update on happenings, the next meeting is Tues27th with a talk on Veta Farm Products.There will be the normal monthly raffle with 1st prize a $50.00
voucher from Bird, Fish and Reptile Place.
The next Finch Auction is on Sunday 9th Dec at the usual place, some birds from the Eastern States will be auctioned off which gives you a chance to intrduce new
blood into your breeding.These will be:
3pr Diamonds;
3pr Cubans;
2pr Chestnuts;
2pr Red Browed;
3pr Orange Breast.

A question about the Chestnuts.
It's been a while since I was at Fins, Fangs and Feathers in Welshpool but they had a large number of Chestnuts there. All wild caught. I was told by the staff member attending to the birds that this would be the last shipment as the demand for them simply was not there. They had been there for a while as i also saw them during my earlier visits to WA.
