I think I would rather watch grass grow than have to watch a footy match of any description...*ducks for cover*

I was worried a few times in yesterdays grand final, especially in the first and third quarters.
The celebrations began yesterday afternoon and will continue through tonight when the Bulldogs win. Thankfully there is a public holiday tomorrow to recover.
I usually follow the Penrith Panthers or as they were known this year, the Penrith Pussycats, and I support any team that is playing the Melbourne Storm. I can't stand bellyache Bellamy and Cameron Smith. I love Billy Slater and still think he is the best rugby league player in the world.
Here's hoping 2 from 2.
I am surprised the number of rev heads on the forum as well. Plenty of support for the Ford's. Any Holden people? Will Mercedes and Toyota make any difference next year?
I am a Penscke Indycar follower with Will Power and Ryan Briscoe, two Aussies, in the team.

As the saying goes if you want to rev you buy a Chev....Mind you I don't mind American Fords...Aussie Fords and the Holdens for that matter have got no style...not like back in the 1960/1970s ...now cars all look the same, that ugly Euro look.....but I will be hoping for a Holden win...all be it that they run Chevy engine...Canary wrote: I am surprised the number of rev heads on the forum as well. As I'm a Vic. I was soooo glad Swans won. I have been a ST Kilda supporter for over 50 years. As for Rev Heads, I built & raced a drag car back in the late '60s
in Melbourne and did very well, That's when it was a sport, not big money like today. Yes, I have even driven around Bathurst, it looks easy on TV, but believe me, it's not.
Love speedweek on the ABC.
Getting back to the AFF, I still keep finches & Red Factor canaries, started in 1950s.

Well done to Sydney. Yes another rev head here and holden/chev lover but i dont mind early mustangs and some of the sixties fords. Owned and raced a LH Torana with chev engine , ran 11.2 on the quarter in Darwin but became an expensive hobby as i matured. Younger brother owns an FJ ute with a genuine 22,000 miles and in the family for 37 years.

Not a Rev Head, but did spend a lot of my life running a Garage, my first car back in 1959 was a 1948 FX Holden Ute which then was just an old ute,
all the farmers sons had Zepher 6 utes[Me I worked on a farm]
Any team apart from Collingwood is a great result. Go the Eagles and Dockers.
Cheers Greg.
