I couldn't possibly miss the dinner. I believe you to be the evening's entertainer - the star attraction!
Yeah... blinding...don't forget your shades...or a set of ear plugs and a good book...or a pillow!

Should be some nice African shots to make us all drool- me included-and I was there.

Deb, make sure you say Hi too. Need to put a face to the no BS comments! ;-) :D
Any other AFFers should say hello too.

Looking forward to it, but I'm driving home that evening so unfortunately will have to go easy on the "African shots".

We will be going once again. We arrive on the Friday leave our birds and head back to the club and spend the evening there.
We actually stay at the clubs motel, and will spend the next morning at the sale etc then head home. last year we stayed for the Saturday evening dinner which was enjoyable but we have decided to skip it this year.If you intend going it may be prudent to sort out your accom.now as it can be in short supply.
Orange Bird Sale is run very very well and most enjoyable, wouldn't miss it.

Hi Sam,

No need to book for the aviary tours - which basically consists of a sheet of paper with a map and a list of addresses.

Always worth the trip, 600km each way for our group from North Central vic.

we will arrive Friday afternoon and meet at the club for a few quiet ones with E Orix.

Hopefully this year we wont be rowing home.

Have a list of birds I'm chasing and with luck will find.

Not to be missed

Thanks Ray. I'll book the dinner once I've worked out numbers.

In the past there have been reasonable numbers of mutation Gouldians and also a good number of Finches in general.
BUT what will be there this year is anyones guess and you won't know until you get into the hall.
Even if we don't buy or sell a bird we still have a good time.
