Be great to see how they turn out.
Got the Hunter Valley magazine last week and there was a picture of (well it looked that way to me) an incredibly well coloured pied orange breast taken in NZ - almost totally yellow whilst maintaining the red broaw and a huge splash of orange on the chest

Will try get some update photos tomorrow there ended up 3 in the nest 1 heavy pied and the other 2 looked like the lighter pied in the photo, hope to get another nest out with some more pieds, will give me a few birds to play with next season,

Took this photo the other day, he had just finished pruneing himself after a bath, hre has went through molt, what do use all think

He looks quite nice Marty. Hopefully he was preening not pruneing or he will get the runs

i suppose if he prunes to much he wont have any pied left in him
i have breed about 10 youngsters that have come out pied, the one on the photo is one of the best 2
