The bird here has no where near the amount of Black around the face/beak area as that bird has.
Yet you call that a hen, if that is so could the one here be a young bird.
On the post you sent in with all the photos the third along at the top there is a shot of 2 birds facing each other.
The bird I would call the hen is so similar to the one here.

Hmmmm Tricky. I am going on the colours of the local ones around my area. The males have an almost black face and the hens are a lot paler. Maybe different areas have local colour forms.
