Melbourne Sale 21/4/13

It wasnt too bad but its really gone from by far the best sale in Victoria to probably the worst in the past few years. Just few sellers and buyers in comparison to what it used to be like years back. Not all that many parrots but there was quite a few finches and I was pleased to see a few Javas, Chestnuts, and the three species of Nuns. I worry about the future of some of these, I know Javas are prolific breeders but are they are common as they used to be? Rarely see them at bird sales in Vic these days. Also a few red siskens, Id like to get some of these one day but they always seem to be available from canary and mule breeders and id assume they are fostered.
