The last 2 babies fledged yesterday. Both dad and the adoptive mum are feeding all babies well. I was astonished that the hen would feed young which aren't hers!!! Even when 4 had fledged and 2 were still in the nest both the adults fed them. I saw dad do a little bit of courting today

Some birds are just desperate to be a parent!
Ive even had uncoloured, just weaned young feed a baby that begged long enough.
