In the Grampians in Victoria. If you were traveling from Melbourne to Adelaide via the Western Highway (A8) Once you get to Stawell you can take the Grampians Road right into Halls Gap.

Yes Jack it is very cold in the Mornings and night.It was 0'c one morning with ice on the ground etc... A stiff bourbon could rectify the cold at night, but the mornings I had no measure for that.
