You're all making me jealous.
I had plans and was really hoping to go this final year but unfortunately it just isn't possible.

Not just the finches either... Hoping to get a good 150 species up there!

Shame you can't make it Sam, hopefully we'll get to see you at the convention next year!

The Count down has begun!
Two weeks from now YOU should be in Wyndham as this is your last chance to take part in the annual Gouldian Count. So if you have not done it before, it's now or never.
You will see Black rumped Double bars, Masked finches, Longtails, Crimsons, Pictorella's, Yellow rumped mannikins and Chestnut breasted mannikins as an extra bonus( at no extra cost)(( and none of these species will be caged))
I have also arranged a 05.30 start bird boat trip on Lake Argyle on the Saturday before the count - 31 August -
Cost $120.00 pp (normally $180.00) and light breakfast provided. Best chance to see the Yellow Chat.
If interested in the boat trip email me this week as I will be out of phone contact/internet after that.
Cheers, Case

Those coming it will be well worth it to do the Lake ARgyle trip! We havent had the best wet season so the lake is lower than the last couple of years and I have had reports there are a lot of birds around including some Migratory species being in! The Yellow chat is definetly possible and Greg knows his stuff. Enjoy!!

We don't fly out from Darwin until the 31st so we will just have to enjoy the local area.
I am sure we will find something to do.
