Has anyone tried dog hair? I just furminated my Shepherd, and was wondering if the birds might like a bit of her soft undercoat fur...

yes my friend has huskies and so i have a regular supply - siskins and LGS love it.

I gave my son a home hair cut once and threw the lot if it in the aviary as a bit of an experiment ... not one strand went to waste .
I found masks favoured it along with singers , and TCPFs .

Chucked in some of my dogs hair today, and the finches went crazy for it! Can't blame them; it's very soft, and a combination of colours to keep everyone happy
