hello guys.
I have many finches, - blue faced parrot finches, parsons, Cubans, yellow tails, double bars, chestnut mannikans, cordon bleus, African fires, yellow breasted finches, zebbies, canaries, budgies, king quail...
just to name a few...
been a pretty ordinary year for breeding I reckon...one thing I did just in the past 4 weeks recently was pulled out all the old budgie and finch boxes, pulled out the wire cylinder cages packed with straw and swamp grass for nesting and replaced with about 20 Gouldian boxes....amazing results within a month....new babies and eggs ....!!...also pulled out all the old maleluca bush...
wondering if this should be an annual thing to get better breeding or was it the new type of boxes....??....im guessing....

Removing or refurbishing (empty and clean then replace) of nest boxs/recepticles after the pair finish is always good for heath and insperation.
