I know of some using 2ml/litre & some using 200ml/litre. I use a very precisely measured "glug glug" per watering can of water.

I use roughly 5-10 mL ACV to 1 litre of water every so often but particularly when I know I wont be able to give fresh water the next day. I find it keeps the water crystal clear. I think this is because they don't like bathing in the water which also means they don't poop in it so much - probably because of the acidity. Also acidifying the gut has advantages, as others have already explained.
