Search Spitfires Aviaries by Branchez and his photos will show you what I did.
As far as plans are concerned, cannot help you because it is all in the head and don't know how to put it on paper.
But putting it simply, you start with a size that you want to finish at, say 5metres long by 3 metres wide by 2.4 high, and working with 1.2 wire. you buy your material from the cheapest
supplier you can find, they come in 6 metre lenghts. cut some lenghts to the required lenghts of 5 3 and 2.4 metres You lay the 5 mt.x 25mm x 25mm
of galvanised material lenght on a flat surface
Start from 1 corner and tech screw a right angle to the end of the piece, do the same on the other side. Now now lay a 50mmx25mm upright lenght and tech srew it
at 90% to the horizontal lenght. do the same to the other side. Now tech screw a lenght 5metre x 25mmx25mm in between the 2 uprights and you have the makings of a wall.
Measure 1.2m marks top and bottom for your wire lenght and cut 4 lenghts to fit between top and bottom, teck screw right angles and lenghts centre on your marks and WALAAAA
You have a frame for a wall. Cut your wire to size and teck screw to metal. Now you have the front of the aviary.
Continue the same procedure for the other walls Deciding where you want the door. Stand the walls upright on your concete foundation and bolt together, bolt to concrete.
Put on a roof the same way as the walls and you have an AVIARY. Decide which way its facing and close the SOUTH AND WEST WALLS against the weather. Close off the top 700 mm
of the north and East walls as a precaution against wind with a see thru material. Build a cage like safety enclosure around the door and decide how you want to enclose the roof and
where the rain water is going to fall.
now I am sure you have a decent Aviary.
Should these instructions not suffice SEARCH THE FORUM. Good luck. PHEW.
