Nice bird, surprised as it seems are the NSW breeders (tongue in cheek) that you put a very nice bird on the perch,as for the blue ay ,to blue ay ,colored feathers has all the answers on this new mutation, and yes it reproduces it self, garyh

How long have you been living in Victoria for? From what I have read on the forum, it isn't possible to breed blues or Australian blues anywhere but Victoria...

Hi BOF33
I am sure she is not a lot of peoples cuppa ( which is totally fine by me ) the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things. I think like most people that it is hard to beat the beauty of a normal gouldian but I also love gouldian mutations. She was bred in canary cabinets.
cheers, John

Thanks bluJay...Its ok because I used to show and breed 20 pair of red factor canarys years ago which makes me a canary breeder

...... but besides that I live in the centre of Newcasle and only have a small courtyard and garage ( where I have 2 small aviarys jammed ) so other than that its cabinets in my garage or no birds
cheers John

I think like most mutation breeders we all keep heavily documented records of our breeding results.
I for one would be very interested in seeing yours at the end of this season.
Good luck mate..!!
Rich.
